The cartoon below, by A.F. Branco, brilliantly explains the difference between President Trump, and former President Obama in terms of how each performed in dealing with the economy.
For Obama after 8 years, and President Trump, after two and a half years or so:
Based on that, it would seem to me PResident Trump should win re-election by a landslide.
After all, who would ever want to go back to the failed policies of the Democrats, especially when it comes to jobs and the economy.
Newt Eviscerates Democrats Claiming Booming Economy is Obama’s Legacy
During an interview on the Fox News program “America’s Newsroom” former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich smacked down Democrats who claim that the booming economy is actually the legacy of former President Barack Obama.
“Obama’s policies and the policies of the socialist Democrats are policies of high taxes, big regulations, anti-business attitudes, and they had led us to a very, very weak economy, averaging 1.6% growth” Gingrich said.
“We encouraged businesses, we particularly encouraged the dramatic development of energy.
We now have dramatically bigger actually the most recent data is that the poorest one fourth of the country is getting a bigger pay raise than are people in the upper income levels.
So this is the right kind of recovery. Blue collar workers going back to work.
Manufacturing growing dramatically, and I think the fact is that anybody who is serious knows that none of this had anything to do with Barack Obama.
Obama’s policies and the policies of the socialist Democrats are policies of high taxes, big regulations, anti-business attitudes, and they had led us to a very, very weak economy. Averaging 1.6% growth.
Trump has beaten that every single quarter since he became president and it is getting stronger and better.
I think it’s sad that the Democrats can’t learn anything.”
